Trekking Guide Association of Nepal (TGAN) is pleased to honor Mr. Aang Pasang Sherpa as the first honorary lifelong member of this organization in the year 2019.

The committee has taken this decision based on lifelong membership criteria stated in the organization’s constitution.

The honorary  lifelong membership is the recognition given to those who have shown leadership in the tourism industry of Nepal for at least 15 years and contributed significantly to one of the following sectors including to our organization :

• Rock climbing
• Mountaineering
• Trekking
• Instructor, Coach, Trainer
• Hospitality
• Safari

Mr. Aang Pasang Sherpa has been one of the active members of the tourism industry of Nepal, he has been promoting Nepal’s tourism in many countries. As being the first initiator for the rock climbing industry in Nepal, he has also been a very successful rock climbing trainer and coach.

The rock climbing spot initiated by Mr. Sherpa has now been one of the popular training centers for renowned organizations of Nepal like Nepal Mountaineering Instructors Association, and Nepal Mountaineering Association.

TGAN is proud to have a lifelong member like Mr. Aang Pasang Sherpa.
